The Local Area

Based in Birmingham, The Bond Company sits alongside the Grand Union Canal in Digbeth, within the Warwick Bar Conservation Area.

An area of historical interest, this corner of Birmingham was home to industry and innovation and was integral to the success and growth of the city. The Grand Union Canal and nearby Curzon Street Station were the backbone for the Industrial Revolution, becoming a huge part of life within the city.

Moving through the 20th century, Digbeth was home for the manufacturing of numerous household brands, including Typhoo tea, HP Sauce, and Bird’s Custard where the Custard Factory now stands.

Nowadays, Digbeth is a vibrant neighbourhood embracing creativity and business; and The Bond is a lively community and hub within this area for business, meetings, and social events. With its close proximity to Birmingham City Centre and interesting mix of historic buildings, we are rapidly becoming Birmingham’s number one location for business, new creative industries and social activities.
